1886年1月29日，一名工程师在经历了无数次的失败之后，终于拿到了德国专利局的专利，由此开创了一个新的时代。

这名工程师名叫卡尔·本茨，他的专利是汽车制造，那一年被称作汽车元年。

在以后的一百多年中，人类社会因汽车的出现而得到了巨大的改变，生活半径的扩大，生活节奏的加快，推动着整个人类社会不断向着更加文明和进步的方向迈进。

汽车，日渐成为了人们家庭生活中的一员，随之出现的，是汽车后市场的开辟和发展，至今已形成一个年产值超过5000亿美元的巨大市场。2010年我国汽车销量再创历史新高，突破1800万辆，稳居世界第一汽车销售大国，年销量刷新全球历史记录。目前，我国汽车后产业已拥有4000亿的巨大市场。这就是汽车产业发展带给后市场、后产业的预期。

关于汽车后市场

汽车后市场是指汽车销售以后，围绕汽车使用过程中的各种服务，它涵盖了消费者买车后所需要的一切服务。也就是说，汽车从售出到报废的过程中，围绕汽车售后使用环节中各种后继需要和服务而产生的一系列交易活动的总称。

汽车后市场有不同的定义，归纳起来有三种主要定义：定义之一是消费者在使用汽车的过程中所发生的与汽车有关的费用，具体维修、保养、零配件、美容、改装、油品等服务；定义之二是整车落地销售后，车主所需的一切服务；定义之三是汽车产业链的有机组成部分，包括汽车销售领域的金融服务、汽车租赁、保险、广告、装潢、维护、维修与保养；日常运行的油品；驾校、停车场、车友俱乐部、救援系统、交通信息服务、二手车等；整车与零部件物流等。

An engineer, after experiencing numerous unsuccessful attempts, got the patent of German Patent Office finally on January 29, 1886. From then on a new times begun.

This engineer is Carl benz, and his patent is the automobile manufacture; the year of 1886 is called the first year of automobile.
In the following 100 years and more, the human society changes hugely since the automobile comes into being, where the life radius expands and the life pace speeds, which pushes the whole human society to go toward higher civilization and advancement.
The automobile has gradually become one member of home life of human being. Following the automobile, it is to open up and develop automobile aftermarket; till now a huge market with the annual output exceeding US$500 billion has already formed. In 2010, the sales of automobile in our country hit a record new high and 18,000,000 automobiles were sold, which made China maintain the first largest automobile country in the world and the annual sales broken the global historical record. Currently the after-automobile industry of our country has formed a huge market of RMB400 billion. This is the expectation brought by the automobile industry development to the aftermarket and after-industry.

Introduction to automobile aftermarket

The automobile aftermarket refers to the services offered in the use process of automobile after it is sold; it covers all services needed by consumer after automobile is bought. In other words, the automobile aftermarket is the generic term of a series of transaction activities arising from various subsequent demands and services encircling the after-sales and use of automobile in the whole course from the one when the automobile is sold to the one when the automobile is scrapped.
The automobile aftermarket has different definitions. To sum up, there are three main definitions, i.e.: firstly, it refers to the expense, repair, maintenance, part and component, detailing and care, rebuilding, oil and other services related to automobile in its use process; secondly, it refers to the services needed by automobile owner after it is sold; thirdly, it refers to the integral part of automobile industrial chain, including financial service, automobile lease, insurance, advertisement, decoration, maintenance, repair and upkeep in the automobile sales field, oil, driving school, parking lot, automobile fan club, first aid system, traffic information service, second-hand vehicle etc., automobile and its parts and components logistics etc.
